Oregon Sunstone princess cut faceted

Once upon a time I had a shop on the main level of Pearl Street in Boulder. Many gem dealers would walk through my doors. I remember this young man in particular, as he was one of the original owners and miners of a sunstone mine in Oregon. He had a few stones in his pocket, the way the old time gem dealers used to do. They would come to your store and pull amazing beautiful gems out for you to see, and then they would be gone. Sometimes you might never see them again as was the case in this situation. This beautifull cut 6mmx6mm square, amazingly precise for such soft material, is a lovely princess shape with such grand color. Whoever cut this stone knew what they were doing.
