CMD Mille Fiore Venetian Glass 'Snaffle Bit' Necklace

Mille Fiore means 1000 flowers. This process of folding glass over and over again to create highly defined patterns for glass beads and mosaic was originally found with the glassmakers in Italy. 

The Navy blue glass 11mm round beads are arranged in a snaffle bit bridle design. 20 inches long, I created this piece with Kevlar, and handmade bronze beads and a gold fill sturdy hook and eye clasp for easy wear. This piece is not heavy. I distributed the weight just perfectly so that it feel light around your neck.
