Tuareg Inspired Cross with Sapphires 18KY gold

Agadès Cross, or the Cross of Niger, is shaped differently from a traditional cross. It is often a symbol for the four directions. relevant to a nomadic people living in the desert. The Tuareg men wear the full cover over their heads and faces, where the women do not. 

The shape of these earrings are inspired by the Tuareg style. At 2.25 inches in length, they hang just right. The miligrain outlines and further defines the shape. The 6x4mm oval blue faceted sapphires are open in the back to let that magic light shine through.
