Victorian 18KY gold pin with opal cabochons and diamond center convertible pin/pendant

This beautiful convertible pin and pendant is made of a very substantial amount of gold. The enamel work is a delightful surprise and the opals are brilliantly colored. The 14, 3mm opal cabochons are prong set as is the natural faceted 3mm brilliant cut diamond which sits directly in the center of a radiant pattern.  All  of the stones, metal and pin back are in very good condition. A perfect and stunning gift for that April or October baby. The provenance of this piece is strong, as it comes straight to my client through her family.
